Ball Valve
This uses a hollowed-out ball, in the form of a fattened ring within a pipe to control water flow using a handle on the outside of the pipe. The ball value supports up to 700 bars of pressure (that's 700 times atmospheric pressure) and up to 200°C in temperature. The ball value is easy to repair and works is capable of working perfectly for many years.
